Nose surgeries are covered by SSI as long as they are not cosmetic, meaning that they resolve a functional issue.
While private insurances cover the costs of sinusitis surgeries (endoscopic sinus surgery), and concha surgeries, they sometimes cover the costs of nose bone, deviation surgeries and
sometimes they don't, depending on the policy of the insured.
Cosmetic nose surgeries are not covered by any insurance institutions. However, we already explained that the concha and bones in the nose are also operated in every cosmetic nose
surgery. In such cases, private insurances cover the costs of the procedures carried out inside the nose under their policies but leave the cost of the cosmetic part of the surgery (a certain
proportion of the price of the intervention) to the patient.
