considered as a cylinder, there are organs acting as tonsils all around this cylinder. In this section called Waldayer's ring, tonsils, adenoid, tongue tonsil, tuba tonsil, lateral band tonsil. But the most prominent are the tonsils that appear to the right and left of the tongue root when we open our mouth. They undertake the most tasks.

Adenoid, like tonsils, has the task of regional protection and germ identification, but the active duty is up to 2 years of age, after which they lose their importance. Tonsil surgery is planned if there are more than 5 febrile infections for 2 consecutive years or more than 6 infections per year. If the tonsils are too large or if our child has snoring complaints, the operation is planned.
