If these complaints of patients who often present with headache, nasal congestion, feeling of pressure persist for more than 3 months despite treatment, chronic sinusitis is mentioned. The problem causing this condition is solved by endoscopic sinus surgery or balloon sinoplasty.

There are 4 types of sinuses, 2 single and 2 pairs, to regulate the head pressure in the face area. There are Maxillary Sinus on the cheeks, Ethmoid Sinuses around the eyes, Sphenoid Sinus under the brain, Frontal Sinuses on the forehead. Surgery is planned in case of blockage, fluid accumulation, polyp formation or mass in these sinuses.
